MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The crowning of this year's Miss South Cape at Hartenbos Primary on 11 Decem-ber was an event filled with glitz and glamour.
Miss South Cape's organisers said this year's programme demonstrated not only beauty and talent, but also resilience, compassion and personal growth.
It started with the registration process in George on 6 December, followed by the preliminary contest at Diaz Hotel and Resort on 10 December.
The contestants took part in workshops, interviews, community-driven initiatives and confidence-building activities, created to equip them with real-life skills for future pageants and life beyond the crown.

The judges for the preliminary contest and the finals included local influencers, celebrities and well-known members of the community, such as Mossel Bay's Stellie Taute, who had made the top five of Mrs South Africa in November, Ward Councillor Anton Dellemijn, Zelmarie Wessels, Jaclyn Ivy, Marelize Earle, who was crowned Mrs Globe Classique in California, America, in June, Ferdi Bergh and Karen Bothma.
Karli Nell was crowned Miss South Cape 2025. Elani Pienaar was the first runner-up and Akeelah Laminie the second one. Elona Jaqu was crowned Miss South Cape Teen 2025, Megan Muller was the first runner-up and Khloe Leigh Barnard the second.
Imecia van den Berg garnered the title of Miss South Cape Preteen and Loandré Olivier Miss South Cape Junior.
"Miss South Cape is about the journey," said the organisers.
"Every contestant walks away with something valuable: courage, self-belief, discipline and sisterhood. Our goal is to teach, guide and inspire."
