MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 15-year-old boy charged with three counts of attempted murder is expected to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court today, 12 August, for a formal bail application.
The Da Gamaskop Police arrested the boy, whose identity cannot be revealed because he is a minor, on 5 August, in connection with three separate instances of assault with a panga in Mountain View, Mossel Bay.
He allegedly attacked two victims sometime between 21:00 and 23:00 on 1 August, and a third victim at about 00:45 the next morning.
The exact circumstances behind these assaults are not yet clear.
The boy appeared in court for a formal bail application on 7 August, which is expected to continue today; however, the outcome of his bail application was not yet known by the time of publishing.
