MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - The Mossel Bay area has another landmark to add to its already impressive list of icons, such as the Pinnacle Point caves and mosaics, the St Blaize Lighthouse, the Pavilion on Santos Beach and the longest oversea zipline.
We have our own Hole in the Wall. It is a smaller version of the Hall in the Wall at Coffee Bay on the Wild Coast in the Eastern Cape.

Ours is about 15 minutes' walk from the Hartenbos River mouth in the direction of Little Brak.
Hartenbos resident Frank Stockenstroom discovered our Hole in the Wall. Almost every day he walks on the beach from Hartenbos to Little Brak and back.
Frank says: "I've been living here for years. I fish on the coast from Hartenbos to Little Brak River."
At low tide one can access the Hole in the Wall, which is 14cm in diameter. Frank is delighted with his discovery. He says: "It's relatively safe to walk from Hartenbos to Little Brak and back, if you do not walk alone. The beaches have become much busier these days, with all the people from upcountry who have settled in Mossel Bay."
