MOSSEL BAY NEWS - One of South African top 10 beaches (according to Travelstart South Africa), Dias Beach in Mossel Bay, is in desperate need of a lifesaving chair, an item used by local lifesavers to keep beaches safe, in and out of season.
This was one of the needs identified by Mossel Bay Municipality and which developed into this year's campaign for the Oliver Twist Community Project, supported by the Mossel Bay Advertiser and ReedValley.
A life is worth much more than R90 000 - the estimated cost of the construction of and materials for a lifesaving chair which could potentially help save many lives.
You can make your contribution to the acquisition of this chair by attending the yearly ReedValley Annual Winter Charity Event this Saturday, 3 August. Tickets cost R300 per person.
ReedValley will be solely sponsoring the whole event, in aid of the Oliver Twist Community Project. Should you not be able to attend, hit the donate button on the ReedValley facebook page.
Every time you buy a ticket for the variety of shows performed there, you also contribute to this cause. Make a difference. Hit the button and donate.
