MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A small boat that has been stranded on Santos Beach has drawn plenty of curiosity from the Mossel Bay public.
According to the Mossel Bay Municipality, the vessel had become detached from its moorings during the night, between yesterday, 29 July, and this morning, 30 July.
It is unclear where exactly the boat originates from. It is believed that it had been swept onto the beach by the ocean waves and winds.
Crews from the Mossel Bay NSRI Station 15 responded to the scene, said the municipality.
It said that arrangements are being made for the re-flotation of the vessel during the course of today. The vessel currently remains stranded on Santos Beach.
