Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The trial for the murder of the well-loved Ext 13 resident Keano Brown (23) has been postponed to next July.
Claytin Williams, who is accused of fatally stabbing Brown in Cob Street in Ext 13 on 6 July last year, appeared in the Mossel Bay Regional Court today, 29 October, for plea and trial.
The three witnesses who were due to testify were also present; however, Magistrate Jerome Koeries postponed the matter as there was another ongoing trial in the courtroom today involving nine accused who had all been behind bars for the last five years.
Koeries said this other matter had to be finalised, and he postponed the Brown case to 13 July next year.
Williams will remain in custody until the trial commences.
