MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A man, believed to be elderly, who had gone to the Thusong Centre to visit the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) offices this morning, 27 October, died outside the bathrooms.
When Mossel Bay Advertiser arrived at the centre this morning, forensic services had already collected the body, and the tape cordoning the scene off was being removed.
According to several eyewitnesses at the centre, who requested anonymity, the man had been standing in the line outside the Sassa offices when he said he was not feeling well. He made his way to the bathroom a few metres away.
The police have not yet responded to a media enquiry about the incident.
