MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Despite a limit on the number of festival goers at the MosJazz Festival last weekend, judging from feedback on the event's social media page, everyone had an absolute blast.
The festival started on 17 March and concluded on 21 March, Human Rights Day. This year, it was held at Santos Beach, not De Bakke Beach, which was the location previously.
Photographs on social media show festival goers smiling and line dancing on the beach in the shallow surf. With the near-perfect summer weather and full moon on Friday evening, the scene was set for a superb outdoor event.
Feedback on social media is overwhelmingly positive and many indicated that they will definitely be back in Mossel Bay for some more good vibes later this year.
At the festival, it was indicated there would be another MosJazz event this year in November.

According to one the organisers, Mark Govinsamy, only 2 000 people including bands, security and staff were allowed at the festival daily due to the national state of disaster and relevant Covid-19 regulations.
The festival did not take place in 2020 and had to be postponed in 2021 due to Covid-19.
