The watch members also cover the two business centres, Life Bay View Hospital and all the medical premises along the routes that they patrol.
"We honour our partners who have joined us in this event," said chairman Jan Benade.
"They are the police, Fire Station, local law enforcement, Msec, Community Police Forum, local Traffic Department, By Grace EMS and ER24 Mossel Bay. Both emergency services had to leave us because of emergency calls. Last, but not the least, is the wonderful team of volunteer patrollers.
"Our aims are to nurture a sense of unity, dedication and good neighbourly relations among the community in the area," said Benade.

The watch also serves as a watchdog (eyes and ears) for the community, the security service providers and the local police services, thereby assisting the local police services and security service providers to safeguard the community against criminal activities and strive for a safe and secure environment, Benade said.
According to Benade the watch provides a channel through which the community can play a meaningful role in crime prevention.
Da Nova Neighbourhood Watch is in partnership with the Community Police Forum (CPF), SAPS and the Department of Community Safety (Western Cape Government).
The Da Nova Neighbourhood Watch is a non-profit company (NPC), registered with the Commissioner of Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), with registration number 2020/654111/08.
