A TNPA-organised walk takes place on Friday, 25 March.
TNPA noted in a media release on Wednesday: "The port of Mossel Bay will join the national commemoration of Human Rights by embarking on a Wellness and Human Rights Walk on 25 March.
"The walk by port employees aims to put a spotlight on social issues that affect human rights, such as gender-based Violence (GBV).

She notes: "Our port employees shall be submitting a pledge against GBV at the Mossel Bay Police Station on George Road.
"We pledge to play our part in ending GBV and to speak out against any form of abuse and violence within the organisation and communities. We commit our support for safer communities.
"We commit our support in building a safer future for our children. We commit to being part of the change.”
The media released noted that the Heart to Heart Foundation and the police, "who assist and protect GBV victims in our communities as well as other regulatory bodies that are key to the success of this initiative, will also show solidarity with GBV victims by forming part of the walk".
The walk is scheduled to commence at 08:00 and participants will disperse after submitting the pledge at 12:00.
