MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 40-year-old man, fondly known by community members as Frank, died of his wounds at a local hospital yesterday, 29 July after being attacked at his shop in Adriaans Avenue.
According to KwaNonqaba Police spokersperson, Sgt Kapp, six suspects armed with knives and pangas entered the shop at around 13:00 demanding cell phones.
“We believe that the victim resisted and sustained multiple wounds.” Kapp said that the shop’s co-owner was also injured during the attack.
“The victim was taken to hospital, but died of his wounds just before 15:00.” No arrests have been made.
“Frank was a friend to many, therefore we urge the community to provide the police with information.” The investigation officer is Wo Jeffery Moos at 079 894 1599.
