He was arrested in KwaNonqaba less than 48 hours after Annandale’s body was found with a wound to the neck on Monday, 1 September.

Update

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The 39-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of Heleen Annandale (62) made his first court appearance in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court today, 5 September.

The accused, Sonwabile Mbambo, was arrested in KwaNonqaba less than 48 hours after Annandale’s body was found with a wound to the neck on Monday, 1 September.

Mbambo is facing charges of murder and theft of a motor vehicle.

The case was postponed until 22 September for a formal bail application.
