HARTENBOS NEWS - Ester Weilbach of Hartenbos makes extraordinary miniature interiors, using items she recycles and also those that she creates.
Those who like dolls' houses will appreciate Ester's handiwork.

She uses paper on which she prints logos, as well as modelling clay, knitting yarn, wood and more, to make the teeny little items for the interiors.
The rooms have "shop" themes, such as a wool or haberdashery shop and a women's clothing store.
Some of the items Ester recycles for use in her interiors are roll-on deodorant lids and pill containers.
Her intricate handiwork harks back to a bygone era when women used to do elaborate lacework and other extremely time-consuming needlework.
Ester's attention to detail is amazing.
Labels from balls of knitting wool are photocopied, but in miniature, and placed around the tiny balls of wool she creates.
There is a sense of humour to her miniature replicas.
Her interiors are quaint and ultra feminine. Each little item is expertly made, with astonishing accuracy and precision.
