BUSINESS NEWS - New name. New jacket. New offices, but still the name you can trust: MOORE.
Initially we got to know them as Meyer Otto. Then they became Moore Stephens and now the new brand is just Moore.
Moore is a community of committed people who have established the company on four pillars: access, passion, care and community. The company's purpose is to build the world's most respected network.
This international company has offices in 112 countries with more than 30 500 employees. The Moore SA network comprises 13 member firms and 16 offices. The SA network has been operating since 2003 and is extremely proud to be part of the Moore Global Network.
The offices in Mossel Bay and George are one member firm with a staff complement of 68, of which nine members are directors.
The core business of Moore SA is the managing of audits and it deals with multi-jurisdictional tax matters for multi-national operations, but it also supports entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals and SMEs in all aspects of their audit, financial, tax and business advisory requirements.
The Mossel Bay team comprises directors Elaine Sims and Fanus Truter (a previous Mossel Bay Business Chamber chairman) and seven staff members. According to Sims they are extremely proud that six of the staff members matriculated in Mossel Bay.
As a token of its trust in the economy of Mossel Bay, Moore has purchased its new offices at Unit 16, Diaz Office Park. Here Moore staff will assist clients with audit and assurance, business consulting, corporate finance, employers' support and payroll, trusts and estates, governance, risk and assurance and taxation and VAT.
