MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The two men accused of the rape of a 25-year-old woman in Asla Park in September made a brief appearance in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Wednesday 3 December.
The men - aged 27 and 31 - were arrested shortly after the incident took place. Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp of the KwaNonqaba Police previously told Mossel Bay Advertiser the woman had received what she thought would be a lift home from a party, allegedly from one of the accused.
Instead she was taken to his home where he and the second accused allegedly raped her.
The case will continue in court on Monday 8 December.
Both of the accused will remain in police custody until then. Their bail applications are yet to be finalised.
