MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Two men, aged 27 and 31, are expected to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court today, 29 September, in connection with the rape of a 25-year-old woman in Asla Park, KwaNonqaba, last Friday, 26 September.
The KwaNonqaba Police Station’s spokesperson, Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, said the woman had allegedly received a lift from a man in the early hours of Friday after a party, and that he took her to his home where he and his friend allegedly raped her.
A case of rape was opened at the KwaNonqaba Police Station and was then transferred to the Mossel Bay Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit.
The two suspects were arrested. The outcome of their court appearance was not known by the time of publishing.
