The 'online noise' has continued to ring following the 11th hour cancelation of the Cape Town Marathon last weekend. Depending on who you speak to, the views are mixed as to the merits of the plug being pulled, at a time when thousands of athletes were literally at the start line. On Monday 20 October, Jeff Ayliffe of Group Editors chatted to well-known George marathoners Eddie Mouton and Liezel Smith, who were both in the Mother City.
