MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Six determined Mossel Bay open-water swimmers recently took on the legendary 14km Kromme River Challenge in St Francis.
All six finished within the given time frame.
These locals trained in icy winter waters as low as 11°C.
Enthusiastic local swimming coach Bronwyn MacDonald skillfully managed the group's weekly training programme.
Lelané van der Merwe won the women’s section.
