MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The N2 between Great Brak and Little Brak River (direction Mossel Bay) was briefly closed due to sand on the road following persistent rainfall.
The Mossel Bay Municipality issued a road closure notice at 07:25 this morning, Thursday, 12 February informing road users of the situation.
At 09:21, however, the fast lane was reopened for traffic.
“Traffic was diverted onto the R102 earlier due to temporary lane closure after sand was swept onto the N2. Traffic officials are still deployed. Road users are cautioned to reduce speed in rainy conditions,” said the municipality.
