MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Police arrested two suspects, aged 19 and 27, for the possession of 8 865 tablets, believed to be painkillers, at the public toilets in Bland Street on Wednesday 30 September.
A spokesperson for the Southern Cape Police, Warrant Officer Chris Spies, said the suspects could not explain why they had almost 9 000 tablets in their possession, and they were arrested.
“They were later released and warned to appear in court on 15 April 2027,” said Spies.
“The drugs will be sent to the forensic laboratory for analysis.”
