They share a birthday on 4 August, when Minos will be turning 13. Although female, she is named after Minos, the King of Crete, in Greek mythology.

Most recently, last year, Dewald acted in Gomora on Showmax, as Detective Grobbelaar.
'Start at the bottom'
Dewald (43) told the Mossel Bay Advertiser that with acting, "You start at the bottom and if you have the passion and will for it, you keep going."
Before moving to Plettenberg Bay, he had an agency in Johannesburg, representing professional actors, but the lockdown destroyed his business.
In a message to would-be actors, he said: "Acting is really hard work - 12-hour days including public holidays, but you do get time to learn your lines in between, during the day."
He said he enjoyed playing the lead in the movie Wolf Wolf. "It's not every day you get to play a serial killer."
Acting in soaps, he did not get bored. He made an effort to make his role interesting. "There must be a separation between your TV character and you." He said when he left the set, he left his character behind. "With good training, you know how to handle the situation." He says actors go "cuckoo" when they start turning into their TV character.
"Minos went with me to work everyday in Johannesburg and she kept me sane during the lockdown, because I lived alone."
