The Advertiser enquired to Skydive Mossel Bay on Saturday. A spokesperson responded, stating that a hard landing had taken place and that the two occupants of the craft were not injured.

Civil Aviation Authority
The Mossel Bay aerodrome manager, Jan Marais, declined to comment on the incident, saying the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) was investigating the incident, as per usual procedure.
The Advertiser enquired to the CAA and is awaiting a statement.
In an account sent to the Advertiser about the incident, it was noted the runway was closed for a period of time after the hard landing, while an oil spill was cleaned up. A loud bang was heard when the aircraft landed, the account read. It had just dropped a group of skydivers before the hard landing took place, it was claimed.
The aircraft landed metres away from the runway. One account noted that the aircraft was a "write-off".
Mossel Bay Advertiser has asked Skydive Mossel Bay for a statement regarding these accounts.
