MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Towards the end of last year the Mossel Bay Advertiser interviewed four women in town who really stand out because of their individual dress style.
This week we interviewed two more women who are stylish dressers. Nadia Lemmetuis is an image consultant and Louise Coetzee, a financial manager who works for a firm of architects. Her husband is one of the architects.
Nadia describes herself as having two styles: one is playful, with lots of colour and the other she describes as "elegant".
She says: "I buy a few very expensive pieces and combine them with less expensive items and this takes me a long way." She shops online through Superbalist.
"I like Superbalist because I know exactly what my size is with them - with shoes and clothing." She gets the size right every time.
She also likes shopping at Poetry stores because the clothes are made for South African women. "The sizes are larger. At Poetry I am a size eight."
Nadia would use these accessories with her "elegant" dress style.
Nadia says that because she has an A-shape figure, she hides the lower part of her body. She finds culottes are good to wear if one has an A-shape.
She has a flawless skin and does not wear much make-up. She does not need to.
'I can't wear heels.'
Nadia admits: "I can't wear heels. I can't walk in them. I look funny when I try. The highest I can wear is 10cm." She used to have bunions because of wearing ill-fitting shoes. Now she believes one shouldn't wear shoes that aren't comfortable.
She has a weakness for Lovisa accessories and shops at Lovisa in George. She likes the shop because the items are grouped according to colour.

When she grew up in Vredenburg on the West Coast, her mother was a house help and used to bring home empty bottles of what was expensive perfume when her employer would throw them away. Nadia put the bottles in her cupboard and vowed: "One day I will be able to afford perfume like this."
Two of her favourites are Versace's Vanitas and Marc Jacobs' Decadence. Nadia says the Lord convinced her that she must not allow women to spend too much money on clothes, so she does not often do shopping trips with clients. She encourages them to wear what is in their wardrobes.
Besides her one-on-one consultations, Nadia wants to start an academy, where women can come for training on style.
Financial manager Louise Coetzee has an easy, casual-chic workwear style which is highly accessible and easy for other women to emulate.
Accessories
She uses a few basic pieces and "jazzes them up" with accessories.
Louise is one of Nadia's clients. "Comfort and fit are foremost," Louise insists. "I like to look professional at work." One can see Louise is active and on the go. She is also a mom and her sweet, gentle nurturing nature is apparent.
"When I need to, I like to dress up and look pretty," Louise says. "I am usually the overdressed one at a function."
Louise Coetzee enjoys functional workwear which is easily mixed and matched.
Louise describes herself as an "inside of the box" type of thinker, but "Nadia took me outside of the box," she says. When she went to Nadia for advice, most of her clothes were old and too small or too large, she says. She thought it best to see a style consultant before buying more clothes.
Speaking about the positive impact the style consultation had on her, she says: "When you get compliments on what you wear, it helps with your self confidence."
"Navy, white and pink are my favourite colours," Louise says. In the winter she enjoys wearing scarves with matching earrings. Her outfits are easily dressed up or down, depending on the occasion.
