Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - As the sun sets, aerial resources employed to water bomb and monitor the fire at Haelkraal are standing down.
Ground crews are continuing their battle with the fire through the night as the fire remains active on the northern, southern, western and eastern flanks.
With scores of people fighting the fire, the need for refreshments increase.
Anyone wanting to donate iced water or cooldrinks in 500 ml sizes, refreshments, food and eyedrops should drop it off at the Mossel Bay Fire Station from where it will be distributed to everyone involved.
