Although the morning was a bit wet, a good turnout ensured everyone enjoyed a special day with fellow bikers.
The aim of the breakfast run was for lady bikers to get to know each other, make new friends and enjoy their two wheelers together.
The eldest participating rider was mrs Dulcey or 'Aunty D', a petite 77 year old lady who rides a Yamaha 600 Fazer, and the pride of these lady riders.
The riders were also very happy to have Monique Loubser (Dottie) from Excalibur's attend the breakfast run even though she had an accident with her motorcycle the previous week. She was still a bit sore, but showed support for her biker friends by joining them on the breakfast run.
The organizers from Set Free Ministries would like to thank the clubs who attended: Excalibur's, Casual Riders, Set Free Riders, CMA, Black Jackets, Ulysses as well as the various ladies who do not ride with a specific club.
A word of thanks is also extended to the following sponsors: Set Free Ministries, Curves George, D & A Bikes, Lavonne Wedding & Functions, Gilah Adi Photography, Royal Girl, Zh"Sen and everyone who contributed to the success of this event.
An even bigger event is being planned for Woman's Day 2012.
