NATIONAL NEWS - The police in partnership with community police forums (CPF) are currently recruiting Community in Blue Patrollers.
These applicants need to be professional, accountable, dedicated, committed, honest, transparent and without any discriminatory practices.
The requirements to become a Community in Blue Patroller are as follow:
- Registration form to be completed
- Screened by the Saps
- Must have a physical address
- 2 ID photographs
- A copy of your ID
- Applicants to sign code of conduct
- Any person on list of sexual offenders will not be allowed.
Community in Blue patrollers should get involved in structured community safety initiatives, projects and into a formal police-community partnership.
