Pastel has been a trusted name in payroll and accounting software since 1989. Accolade Accounting is an accredited training centre and retailer for Pastel Accounting and Payroll since the beginning of 2009; although its staff has many more years of experience to offer. They also offer numerous Pastel Payroll training courses with national certification and SARS E@sy File seminars for the biannual and year end PAYE reconciliation to SARS.
Training courses also include Pastel Xpress and Pastel Partner, as well as basic bookkeeping courses. Using the latest software versions and manuals the students are instructed by a qualified trainer using the overhead projector. Nobody is left behind and any questions are answered. Students are encouraged to understand the material before they write the online exam. Since opening their doors, approximately 120 students have attended the training courses.
Just in the past 18 months, more than 30 students graduated and are in possession of a nationally recognized Pastel certificate. Some were unemployed before walking through their doors and now have found new employment. Even companies have sent their employees for a refresher course after upgrading their system to the latest version of Pastel.
