GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - A small crowd of serious supporters waited in anticipation for Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters to land at George Airport this afternoon, Sunday 28 January.
There was only time for a few photos before she was whisked off to her hometown of Sedgefield for her special homecoming parade.
Miss Nelson Mandela University, Nicole van den Bergh, was granted a photo opportunity with her idol.
Van den Bergh drove all the way from Mossel Bay to meet Demi-Leigh.
This is Demi-Leigh's first visit to South Africa since her crowning last year.
