MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court recently sentenced Asiphile Nobokada (19) to one year imprisonment and five years suspended for crimen injuria and assault at a residence in Adriaans Avenue, KwaNonqaba, in September.
According to Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, the KwaNonqaba Police’s spokesperson, Nobokada’s mother had previously obtained a protection order against him.
He violated it when he approached her and began shouting verbal insults at her.
He was arrested shortly afterwards and after multiple court appearances, was eventually found guilty in January.
