Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - On the northen flank of the Haelkraal fire, it is burning towards the mountain and the fire is too hot to bomb.
On the Eastern flank, the fire is burning slowly with a back burn towards the Robinson Pass.
The Southern flank is contained at this stage with mopping up activities taking place.
Additional ground crew has been employed.
23 Fire fighters from Mossel Bay are also working on fighting the fire.
To date, aerial firefighting has reduced the risk of the fire at various strategic points.
Crews are hoping that the cooler temperatures, which are expected tonight, will provide teams teams the opportunity to take full control of all the fires.
Albertinia
At Albertinia one Eden team of 11 firefighters and a team from Working on Fire of 22 firefighters have their hands full trying to bring the fire under control.
Fortunately no structures have been damaged.
