MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The third suspect in the 2023 murder of André "Attie" George Peterson, appeared with two co-accused, Mandlenkosi Tamase (19) and Sinaxolo Stimela (20), in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, 11 February.
Gershwin Johnson (27) was officially charged with Peterson's murder on 15 January.
He is currently in the Voorberg Prison in Porterville in the West Coast district, serving a sentence for an assault that took place in the Mossel Bay area last year.
Johnson's two co-accused were granted bail of R300 each on 3 December last year.
The three have been charged with the murder of Peterson, who was killed on 28 October 2023.
Tamase and Stimela were arrested in KwaNonqaba on 30 October last year, following an intensive year-long investigation by KwaNonqaba Police detective, Warrant Officer Geoffrey Moos.
The matter has been postponed to 6 March for a regional court date.
