MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Two men have been arrested in connection with the 2023 stabbing and killing of André "Attie" George Peterson. Peterson (42) was killed on 28 October last year.
The arrests come after an intensive year-long investigation by the investigating officer, KwaNonqaba Police Station's Warrant Officer Geoffrey Moos.
The men were arrested, one at a residence in Adriaans Avenue and the other at a house in Stuurman Street, KwaNonqaba, on Wednesday, 30 October, by two members of the KwaNonqaba Crime Prevention Unit, Constable Donovan Duitsjan and Constable Jonothan Boezak.
The spokesperson for the station, Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp said that while the investigation is being led by Moos, the two constables made the arrest after following up on information on the two men's whereabouts.
They traced them to the two locations that Wednesday. Kapp said the two men had since appeared in court, on 1 November, and the matter was postponed to 12 November for a bail application. He said another arrest in the matter was imminent.
