Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Wednesday night mayhem ruled in the greater KwaNonqaba as angry mobs destroyed at least 7 structures.
In Adriaans Avenue the Butchery and Chinese shop were looted and reports indicate that the ATM was damaged in an attempt to rob it of the cash.
Mossel Bay law enforcement officers had to clean Mayixhale Road of debris but residents are asked to rather avoid the road.
Police had to use teargas to disperse the mob and reports were received of babies who as a result had difficulty breathing.
This morning many employers are fetching their workers and reports indicate that workers are making their way to work in greater numbers along Louis Fourie Road and Mayixhale Street.
The protest is a continuation of a community backlash at supposed drug dealers, with the revolt today entering its fourth day.
Reports that people are being prevented from using taxi transport to work is at this stage unconfirmed.
