Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Talks between the station commissioner of the KwaNonqaba Police, Lieut-Col Azisa Madongwana and members of the Elangeni community is ongoing.
The community leaders demand to know who laid charges against the two people who were arrested this morning by members of the police station, as well as representatives of the Police Public Order Policing Unit (POPS).
The arrest followed unrest on Monday evening when several structures belonging to foreign nationals were destroyed.
The community is also demanding to know on exactly what charges the two people who were arrested are being held.
KwaNonqaba Police communications officer, Sgt Kapp said the investigation into the matter is ongoing and the information the community is demanding cannot be divulged.
