MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Work on the establishment of a youth business park, part of the development of the Mayixhale Corridor and similar to the D'Almeida Beehives on Mossel Street is drawing to a close.
This week the executive mayor, Alderman Harry Levendal and his executive visited the sites to oversee the final finishings being done.

The mayor expressed his satisfaction with the wide open spaces and entertainment areas at the youth business park, where a first for KwaNonqaba - a permanent open air gym - has been established.
A jungle gym for smaller children and a central stage, as well as a shisanyama style braai area will ensure that the area will soon be bustling with a lively vibe and entrepreneurial endeavours.
Facilities sport colourful paintwork and contractors are on site doing paving and other final finishings.
Mossel Bay Municipality, in association with various stakeholders, is working towards a total urban regeneration of Mayixhale Street, one of the main arteries of KwaNonqaba and a popular thoroughfare for communities to the many businesses in Voorbaai.
Obviously a multi-year project, the Mayixhale corridor ties in with the existing municipal planning and budgetary frameworks such as the Integrated Development Plan and spatial development framework.
