Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - An extremely tired, but excited Maja Snyman of Great Brak, arrived in Los Angeles on Tuesday, 25 July, after several delays and mishaps.
She is part of the South African team competing in the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) from today, 28 July, to 6 August.
Maja (16) was the overall winner of the SA Championships of Performing Arts (SACOPA) last year.
She is being accompanied overseas by her mother, Annerie. They had not slept properly in 32 hours when they arrived in Los Angeles.
Their luggage got lost, buses were late and there were long queues.
The South African team was scheduled to go to Hollywood on a bus on Wednesday.
Maja will be performing piano and violin items and also singing at WCOPA.
