MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay man who allegedly defrauded several people in the Garden Route while reportedly posing as a developer is set to appear the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on 22 April.
Robert Pace is accused of receiving millions of rands from several victims, mostly pensioners, between 2018 and 2024, for some plots of land after he had allegedly told them he had earmarked a piece of land for a housing development.
There are reportedly 19 cases against him, amounting to almost R3m.
The Da Gamaskop Police first arrested Pace on 29 July 2024. He was granted R10 000 bail on 6 August that same year.
