MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Workers of both Averda and Siyakhona Scaffolding staged a peaceful protest at the new Asla Park Clinic ahead of the official opening by the Minister of Energy Jeff Radebe.
Workers of Siyakhona Scaffolding have for some time voiced their unhappiness over a number of issues with their employer and have asked that PetroSA source their services and employ them directly.
On Thursday, 14 March, the workers displayed placards on the pavement in front of the new Asla Park Clinic to voice their displeasure with PetroSA for not sourcing their services directly.
Minister Radebe referred to the protest when he opened the Asla Park Clinic and said he commended the workers for doing it peacefully.
