MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 15-year-old boy became the latest victim of armed robbery in Bill Jeffrey Avenue on Saturday, 29 July at 19:30.
The teenager and three of his friends were walking along the avenue towards Extension 13. When they reached the corner of Bill Jeffrey Avenue and Grunter Street, they were approached by four unknown men.
Upon hearing the sound of a gun begin cocked, the teenagers started to run away from the men. The suspects managed to grab hold of the 15 year old and he was held at gunpoint, while one of the suspects, armed with a knife searched him and took his J7 Samsung cellphone.
According to the Da Gamaskop police, who are investigating the case, no shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident.
