MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Photographs and videos of yesterday's accident scene on the Vleesbaai road outside Mossel Bay are being sent around via WhatsApp, police have said.

Some are even being sent to a survivor of the accident, which is extremely traumatic for this person.

Accidents are investigated by the police and information pertaining to the accident scene is sensitive. 

Sending around graphic photographs and videos is insensitive to those involved in the accident and also could jeopardise the police investigation.

The police have asked that people stop sending this material around.
