MOSSEL BAY NEWS - One person was killed in an accident on the Vleesbaai/Gourits road outside Mossel Bay at about 07:00 today.
The accident involved two vehicles - a 4x4 and a bakkie which was transporting bread.
Provincial Traffic chief Reinet Sarikakis said the road had to be closed for a period of time after the accident.
A municipal spokesperson, under which municipal ambulance services falls, confirmed one person died. Another person was injured.
No more information on the deceased is available from official sources at this stage.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident.
