MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Tarta is a bull terrier that was brought to the Garden Route SPCA Mossel Bay branch on Tuesday, 6 March, in an appalling state.
He had been attacked viciously by several dogs and his chest was ripped open.
The inspectors took the dog to the vet room, which was not easy because he was terrified and in severe pain.
His pain and wounds were treated skilfully by veterinarian nurse Ilse Wyatt-Goodall, who stitched him up with great care and expertise.
Happily Tarta is healing extremely well and is nearly ready to go home.
