MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Ricardo Syster (37) was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment for a business robbery which took place 8 July 2018.
He robbed the Vodacom store in the Mosselbaai Mall of cash and cellphones.
Syster entered the premises just before closing time on the day of the robbery and threatened the staff with a knife. After an investigation by Warrant Officer Pick and Sergeant Amsted of the Mossel Bay Police Station, Syster was arrested on 1 August 2018.
Bail was opposed successfully and Syster was detained. He was sentenced on 8 May this year.
