BUSINESS NEWS - At Curro Mossel Bay, we are immensely proud of our learners' outstanding achievements and the exceptional education environment we foster.
Celebrating a decade of success, our school continues to build on a legacy of excellence, consistently achieving a 100% pass rate in the IEB matric examinations for the past 10 years.
We are equally thrilled to report that all our students also achieved 100% tertiary exemption, opening doors to further education and career opportunities.
A holistic education offering
Curro Mossel Bay offers a unique experience with three schools on one campus.
From the nurturing environment of our preschool, where babies as young as four months are cared for, to the comprehensive education provided in Afrikaans and English throughout our primary and high schools, we cater to every stage of a child's development.
Our preschool children develop foundational skills in a safe and stimulating environment, preparing them for their future academic journey.
In primary school, we offer Afrikaans and English medium classes for learners from Grade R to Grade 7, allowing each child to learn the language that suits them best.
Our high school continues with Afrikaans and English medium classes in Grade 8 and 9, and a dual-language approach for Grade 10 to 12, ensuring that learners are well prepared for tertiary education, with a focus on academic excellence and personal development.
Notable achievements of our students
This year, we celebrated five A-aggregates, 12 B-aggregates, and an overall grade average of 66% in our matric results.
Our learners continue to excel, with outstanding results across the board.
We take great pride in the achievements of individual learners who have set themselves apart through extraordinary performances.
Amy Eunice Olivier led with seven distinctions, followed by Keenu Vermeulen with six distinctions, and Alyssa Janse van Rensburg, Irnè O'Neil and Kaitlyn Hugo, with five distinctions each.
Pass categories: a bright future ahead
Our graduates are well positioned for success in higher education, with 91.1% of learners achieving a Bachelor's Degree pass. These results reflect the high standard of education at Curro Mossel Bay, ensuring that learners are equipped for both academic and career success.
