Seals rescued after storm
Mossel Bay had a mass landing of baby seals as a result of exceptional surf conditions on Boxing Day. With the help of the NSRI, SPCA and SAPS, these pups were gathered on the beaches and thanks to Seavuna, a temporary holding facility was made available where they could be sorted and calmed down before being released back on the Island.
