In total, 28 boats participated in the race, hailing from as far afield as Vereeniging, Port Elizabeth, East London and Cape Town.
The race was represented in three classes, namely the Stock Class (standard engines with revolution limiter connected), Pro-Stock Class (modifications allowed with rev limiter disconnected) and the Modified Class.
Saturday saw the Surf race with some spectacular racing throughout the classes. Weather conditions were perfect at the start of the race, with the occasional surf sets providing some spectacular surf riding.

Longhaul
The Longhaul race took place on Sunday in absolute picture perfect sea and weather conditions as only Mossel Bay could offer. The distance of 120km took the teams on three laps from Diaz beach with beach check points at Great Brak River Mouth, Klein Brak and back to Diaz Beach.
