MOSSEL BAY RUGBY NEWS - The rugby team of Mossel Bay #TheBestMunicipality convincingly thrashed the team of George Municipality in the #SWDRU Municipal Challenge game on Saturday in Great Brak River, with a final score of 60-33.

Mossel Bay scored a bonus point win with 10 tries against five. Cheslyn Gelderbloem, eighth man of Mossel Bay, was voted man of the match. 

The best forward player was the lock, Marquin Smart, and best backline player of the match, Patrick Amsterdam, wing.

Mossel Bay point try scorers were Eljarro Fleur (1), Shadward Fillies (1), José Pietersen (2), Edgar Syfers (3) and Patrick Amsterdam (3). Conversions: Henn Lin Botha (3) and Edgar Syfers (2).

Well done to the team, management and support staff. The final will take place on Saturday, 9 November, again against the team from George, but this time in Albertinia.
