MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The NSRI Station 15 beach run was hosted on Saturday, 4 January at Dias Beach. The beach run was hosted for the first time on 1 January 2001.
It was the brainchild of NSRI member, the late John Deacon, to not only raise funds for the Mossel Bay NSRI, but also as an awareness campaign for the organisation and it has been running since.
The NSRI thanks all its sponsors.
"Without the participation of all of them and our always willing and ready sea rescue crew, this event would not be possible. Looking ahead, the next event will, by popular demand, be on 2 January 2021 at 10:00," says NSRI station commander André Fraser.
