MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Garden Route Casino hosted the first Mossel Bay Industrial Sport Festival on Saturday, 23 March.

Four soccer teams, namely PetroSA, Mossel Bay Municipality, Garden Route Casino and Nestlé, competed on the soccer fields, while two netball teams, Garden Route Casino and Nestlé, played to see who would be the best team of the day. Only one netball match was played.

Mossel Bay Municipality won the soccer, by beating Nestlé 5-3 in the final match.

On the netball court, Garden Route Casino walked away the winners when they beat Nestlé 47-21.

The other soccer scores were:

PetroSA (3) - Mossel Bay Municipality (4)

Nestlé (7) - Garden Route Casino (1)

PetroSA (6) - Garden Route Casino (4)

The championship will be played yearly from now on.
