MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Western Cape Lifesaving Championships took place on Fourth Beach, Clifton, in Cape Town over two weekends and Mossel Bay Surf Lifesaving Club (MBSLC) members took part.
The juniors, seniors and open category competitions took place on 26 and 27 February. Thirteen clubs from the Western Cape took part.
Results:
1st Clifton, 2nd Fish Hoek, 3rd Milnerton. MBSLC finished 8th with only four juniors competing.
The club's Chané Reinecke won gold in the U15 flags event.
The nippers competed on 5 and 6 March. Eleven Western Cape clubs took part.
